Waterfall of emotions

Waterfall of emotions make me bleed inside.

A colorful storm of feelings overcome me…

Red love, purple anger blue sadness, yellow anxiety, violet passion

green fear, grey confussion, black depression, white hope.

Seeking for a happy place that long ago have lost.

Refuse to see the truth of the inner self.

Avoid to hear the painful words of common sense.

Having built a shelter of tall brick walls,

leaving everybody else inside.

Constant fear of revealing my soul.

Dissociate of existing reality and sinking into the world of madness.tmp_18165-a-colors_waterfall-1582245-1282039711

03:33

received_10204532057273753.jpeg

She sank deeper and deeper into the dreaming world. Once more the cursed nightmare relived, making her tremple. That awful creature was standing at the corner looking at her with his vicious bloody red gaze. With a slow pace he approached her, living behind a tinny sound of threat. He was so scary that tears filled her eyes. His face seemed like it was full of worms. His orbits were dripping with a dark malodorous fluid that brought her nausea. His hand drew in closer, with his dead skin pulsing all over it. She woke up, this time screaming. She sat up on the couch distraught and lit the table lamp beside her. She shot a glance at the clock opposite. It frozed at 03:33 a.m …

How to learn a new language: 7 secrets from TED Translators

How to learn a new language: 7 secrets from TED Translators

great article

TED Blog

Learning_a_languageBy Krystian Aparta

They say that children learn languages the best. But that doesn’t mean that adults should give up. We asked some of the polyglots in TED’s Open Translation Project to share their secrets to mastering a foreign language. Their best strategies distill into seven basic principles:

  1. Get real. Decide on a simple, attainable goal to start with so that you don’t feel overwhelmed. German translator Judith Matz suggests: “Pick up 50 words of a language and start using them on people — and then slowly start picking up grammar.”
    .
  2. Make language-learning a lifestyle change. Elisabeth Buffard, who in her 27 years of teaching English has always seen consistency as what separates the most successful students from the rest. Find a language habit that you can follow even when you’re tired, sick or madly in love.
    .
  3. Play house with the language. The more you invite…

Lilith

Her steps echo all over the room. Everything around me is frozen and I am standing still, counting every breath I take. I remain still here, with my eyes staring into the void. I feel her breath at my face, her fingertips caressing my hair, reassuring me.

<< All is well now, I am here, you can calm down now >>, her velvet voice tells me.

A sweet thrill, a warm feeling is wraping my body. All around everything fades. The only thing that remains at my visual field is her ethereal presence. There’s no sound to be heard, it seems like an inanimated landscape. The only sound that breaks the gloomy silence, is the gentle rustle of her deep black wings, spreading behind her. A snow-white light attracts me more and more strongly towards that spot.

<< It’s time to go, do not be afraid. Time for a wonderful journey >>, she tells me, holding tightly my hand. She leans over me and with a kiss steals my last breath.

I feel my body lighter, insubstantial, I am hovering in the air.

The angel of death guides me towards the warm light. Smiling announces me << now you are free.. >>
